Piner has a unique recognition program for aspiring students that step up to explore Science Technology Engineering and Math outside of the classroom. There are three levels with certificates awarded for each level ,each year of participation with the coveted STEM Prospect award given to students that receive awards in Level 1, 2 and 3. Each level has unique yet flexible criteria to meet ranging from a STEM cafe attendance and write up for Level 1 to designing and conducting your own experiment or MAKE project for level 3 ( * levels can be done in any order !) .
We have a STEM pipeline to Sonoma State School of Science & Technology that grants early admission review for all STEM certificate participants as just one of many advantages of participating in this distinct endeavor. Everyone at Piner has STEMpotential and we invite you to participate to develop a strong high school experience that will continue to open and unlock doors to your future !
